A bit about Bruce

Bruce Anderson has been one of the country's leading pollsters and communications counsellors for decades. A widely read and respected commentator on national public affairs, Anderson has served as CEO of Decima Research, is Chairman of Abacus Data. He has held senior roles in Hill and Knowlton and National Public Relations.  He serves many blue chip corporations and national associations.  Mr. Anderson restricts his practice to communications advice, and research through Abacus Data.  Clients who need lobbying support should consider Summa Strategies professionals

Bruce Anderson, Chairman Bruce has been one of Canada's premier public affairs consultants and commentators for decades. He has been a pollster since 1983 and has twice served as CEO of Decima Research. He is a founding partner of i2 Ideas and Issues Campaigns, a boutique that is the market leader in creative and media targeting services to clients in the public affairs marketplace. In addition, Bruce has been a columnist with the Globe and Mail for several years, and is formerly a regular member of the country’s most watched political panel on CBC’s flagship news program, The National. He is currently Chairman of Abacus Data, and Chairman of Summa Communications.

Jim Armour, Vice President Jim is a seasoned communications professional with over 25 years of experience in the industry. He developed strategy, designed campaigns and handled the day-to-day communications requirements for two leaders of the opposition. After leaving Parliament Hill, Jim served as Director of Communications and Marketing for the Canadian Medical Association. He also worked for Hawk Communications, one of Atlantic Canada’s leading advertising companies.  Jim is accredited (APR) by the Canadian Public Relations Society and is recognized as a Communications and Advertising Accredited Professional (CAAP) by the Institute of Communication Agencies. Jim is currently a vice president and partner at Summa Strategies.

Louis-Alexandre Lanthier, Senior Advisor During his time as Executive Assistant for the Member of Parliament for Papineau – the Right Honourable Justin Trudeau, Alex was responsible for all communications strategy. He also acted as media liaison and spokesperson (in both official languages). Since joining Summa he added to his experience by working with economic and health clients on their communications needs, acting as MC for their conferences and dealing with crisis management. Alex is also a regular political commentator in local Ottawa media and appears as a panelist with RDI current affairs show 24/60 and CPAC.
